TURNBULL ASKED TO FOREGO SALARY

Newly sworn in Prime Minsiter, Malcolm Turnbull is being petitioned to forego his salary and donate it to charity. The petition was started by a 15 year old named Corbin Duncan. It looks like he will easily achieve his target of 7,500 signatures. Who wouldn't like that idea, after all? Everyone knows Turnbull is seriously wealthy. One question is, can he resist the tide of opinion swept along by the tide of media attention? Another question is - was young Corbin insfluenced to do this by finding out that JFK - also seriously wealthy - donated his entire salary to charity? The difference is, JFK needed no petition. It was his own idea.
